HighSnobette, the female counter-part/spinoff of Highsnobiety just posted a little interview with Married to the Mob founder Leah Sweeney. The good folks over at Format Mag have another excellent feature on another great brand that Next carries. Check out the interview they did with 23 and 24 year old founders of Orisue, Allen Doan and Michael Huynh. This is one of my favorite streetwear brands so it’s nice to see them get some shine.
I love these LabelNetwork interviews. They give a lot of insight on people on philosophies behind many of the brands we carry at Next. Be sure to check out 10 Deep’s Spring Delivery now online.
Format Magazine caught up with WESC’s creator Greger Hagelin for a nice interview:
“Format: WESC is an acronym for We Are the Superlative Conspiracy. What exactly is a “superlative conspiracy?”
GH: Our Superlative Conspiracy is a group of good, talented and like-minded people doing great things together. We have so many friends doing outstanding things. That’s why we say Superlative! We say Conspiracy because we all work together, and our way is not for everyone, but it could be!”
Inquiring Mind’s new webmag has an awesome article on the founders of Alife. We currently have 4 pairs of Alife shoes, but the tees have almost all sold out. Get hip to this NYC original.
And I think I beat highsnobiety and hypebeast to this one. : )
Our peoples over at Eighty81 have been doing some excellent interviews lately, with their recurring segment “Hustler Watch”. This weeks installment is fly girl Vashtie Kola, director of “US Placers” and fashionista. Take a look here.

Here’s an excellent interview Josh Spear recently did with Greg Washington, Art Director/Photographer of one of our favorite sites, online culture magazine Inquiringmind. You’ll notice their influence on the recent changes going on to Rule of Next.
