Shout out to the homies @ 8081 doing big things for Cleveland. They recently caught up with emcees Mikey Rocks of The Cool Kids as well as up-and-comer Curren$y to talk favorite rappers, favorite sneakers, and favorite brands.
Here’s some images Fall 2008 collection by Married To The Mob. This collection is somewhat special, as the brand moves from a line dominated by t-shirts and hoodies to a collection consisting of many cut & sew pieces, denim, and accessories.
Spotted this over on Inquiring Mind’s Blog, a retrospect of various Stussy ads shot by different photographers over the last 25 years. Below is just a sampling but you can see them all here.
Format Mag has an interview they just posted with the creator of Kidrobot, Paul Budnitz. In it, he claims his Yale education was crap, discusses his clothing philosophy, and elaborates on art vs. toys.
HighSnobette, the female counter-part/spinoff of Highsnobiety just posted a little interview with Married to the Mob founder Leah Sweeney. She discusses the first line of cut and sew pieces that will be shipping out September 1st, and the growth of her brand out of her apartment and into an office space in the Empire State building.
Nas’ new album “Untitled” comes out tomorrow and to celebrate Alife threw together a little collaboration. Fresh. I heard the album and its definitely worth a listen or three.
Highsnobiety has a snippet about a high profile collaboration we just got in:
“As part of their Summer ‘08 collection, In4mation also got together with their close friends from FiberOps and Irons to collaborate on a t-shirt. The t-shirt features the logos of all three brands, integrated into the graphic on the front. It comes in black and red and is now available online at UbiqRoN.”
The new 10.Deep lookbook for Summer 2008 went less conceptual this time around, basically just shooting family and friends at a cookout/pool party wearing the new line. Simple enough, check out the garments in the lookbook here, and be on the lookout for new arrivals to the RoN and Beachwood stores.
Hey! I recruited a new model for our upcoming shoots named Brittany. Here we are wearing new arrivals of Christian Audigier to the Beachwood store. This will also be some of the first womens items up in the RoN Store, so be on the lookout for more womens clothes available online soon!
