Check it out. Deirdre, who is a principal of BPMW (Brand P!mp$ & Media Wh*res) and a buyer for Next, stopped in to the Beachwood store for a shakedown on what’s to come in 2008. To give you a little background on Deirdre, she moved up the ranks at Bloomingdales as a buyer, where she started in 1998. In 2003 she was awarded their highest achievement (Buyer of the Year). Soon after, she felt the urge to do her own thing and started BPMW, which is a full service branding consultancy specializing in today’s expanding youth lifestyle culture. Deirdre and BPMW are well regarded in the industry and one of the first people/places editors (i.e. NY Times) call for insight into what’s next in fashion. The great thing is that Deirdre does not flaunt these kinds of things and we can assure you that she is quite friendly, courteous, professional and definitely cool. Don’t let the ring fool you!
