So since regular MTV doesn’t play music videos anymore, instead they transfer all their video related shows onto sub-channels. Well the college sub-channel, MTVU (niversity) has a really nice hip hop video show called The Lab, where they play a lot of recent indie and underground hip hop music. This first installment was hosted by Pete Rock, who just dropped an album by the way. For those of you not on a college campus, fear not, because MTVU is nice enough to stream the videos online, and I’m nice enough to embed it on the blog:

It features videos that are never on TV from the likes of MF DOOM, Big Noyd, Sheek Louch, Del the Funkee Homosapien, and Pacific Division. Enjoy.
